Tired of running after the kids?

Put the shoe on the other foot and get them to Wahtonka Track on May 23.

An Elementary School Track and Field Meet will be held as kids get a chance to strut their stuff from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

It offers a laid-back atmosphere where athletes are simply asked to get involved and try their hardest.

No experience is necessary! But running is, lol.

The goal is fun and learning about the sport, and, sure, cheering on your little harrier.

It is hosted by the physical education teachers at Chenowith, Dry Hollow and Colonel Wright, and students and high school track volunteers were on hand to teach the events and pass out ribbons.

Oh yeah, and it’s free to all gorge k-5 students.

You know what they say. The best runs in life are free.
