Govt Camp, Ore., Aug. 5, 2026 — Cascadia Center for Arts & Crafts(CCAC) proudly presents Blacksmith Week, August 12-16. Blacksmith Week is designed to showcase centuries-old to modern forging techniques while providing an interactive experience for all ages. Highlights include a 2-day intermediate blacksmithing class, then live demonstrations and ironworks camaraderie.
The class is a separate tuition, and the live demonstrations feature the exceptional craft and knowledge of master blacksmiths from across the nation. Demonstrators this year are Patrick Maher, Aaron & Jesse Bushey, Evan Scott, Ben Cryzhold, Darryl Nelson and Joe Elliot. Registrations are available online, www.cascadiaart.org/blacksmith-week and in- person at the event. Ticket prices are set for Individual, Student, and Family pricing at 1-day or 3-day options.
This multi-day celebration of metalwork, artistry, and heritage takes place at the historic CCAC South Summit Compound Blacksmith Shop, located just across from the Government Camp Rest Area, US-Hwy 26, M.P. 54, Government Camp, Oregon. The Cascadia Center for Arts & Crafts (CCAC) is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization in Government Camp, Oregon. Its unique operating permit is with the US Forest Service in the Mt Hood National Forest and is 20+ years strong.
