Another day in the 80s is this Friday, Oct. 7.
It does not seem like Fall.
I think there is a stall.
No wind.
Hardly ado.
And predictions of 80s and 70s for the next 10 days.
To remove that ache of coming winter would be perfection.
But that glorious globe that fires this plane shall not be deterred in her walk towards the equator.
Leaving her long shadows pointed in dark anticipation on our Columbia Hills.
Sending the signal to stock up, change appearance or migrate.
But just for a minute or two… if we could just fall back to our feelings of June.
