By Joshuah Albert

The Dalles, Ore. July 27, 2024 — FarmStand held its ribbon-cutting event yesterday, June 26, marking the official opening of its location in The Dalles. The event featured several vendors inside the store, offering a variety of complimentary items such as wine, cheeses, bread, and cookies.

Among the vendors present were Azure Market, Honey Mama's, Columbia Sourdough, Aventura, Cascadia Creamery, and Idiot's Grace.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony drew a large crowd, filling the store with enthusiastic community members.

Friends and family of the Stelzer family, many of whom also acted as vendors, were in attendance.

FarmStand will continue to celebrate its grand opening throughout the weekend, with additional vendors expected to participate.

Sarah Stelzer, the regional manager at FarmStand, shared her thoughts with CCCNews. "It feels like we are already part of the community. I think it’s so beautiful that they showed up," Stelzer said.

FarmStand's grand opening event underscores its mission to integrate into the local community, providing fresh, organic, and locally sourced food while fostering community connections.
