Hood River County Christmas Project
When: Card distribution events on December 11, 12, 17, and 18. Registration closes on Nov. 27
Hood River County Christmas Project is a local non-profit that has been serving those in need in the county for 99 years.
The Hood River County Christmas Project is providing food cards and gift cards for children to those who meet certain income guidelines (SNAP recipient, WIC, or Oregon Health Plan). Details are on the website, where you can also register.
We Need Volunteers!
Volunteers will help staff our card distribution events on December 11, 12, 17, and 18. Volunteers (must be over 18; kids 13 to 18 are welcome if accompanied by 1 adult per child) will be working outside for a few hours helping direct traffic, greet clients, "run" registration info and then gift cards back and forth between cars and registration tables and more.
Find out what slots are open and consider volunteering! It's a great way to share your care and concern for others during the holiday season.

Cascade Singers Christmas Concert
When & When:
Sunday, Dec 12th at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
Saturday, Dec 18th at St. Peter’s Landmark
The program features choral holiday favorites (“with a twist of course” said Director Garry Estep), as well as solo, trio, and quartet performances and ending with a sing-along. Each concert is free and open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend. All donations will remain with the location of that day’s performance to support their music program.

MoonMountain Highway will be hosting the first annual BINGEN BAZAAR on December 11 & 12 from 11A-5P both days. This will be a weekend of merriment, makers of the best gifts, and local artisans filling our studio. The Bazaar will be a wonderful place to support local gorge creatives while finding unique gifts for the holidays!
