Bingen, Wash., June 18, 2026 — Aniche Cellars and Washington Gorge Action Programs (WAGAP) invite the community to the 9th Annual Food For All fundraiser on Friday, August 14, at 4:30 p.m. at AniChe Cellars in Underwood.
The evening will bring together food, wine, music, and art in support of the WAGAP Food Bank Network, which serves thousands of individuals and families across Klickitat and Skamania counties each year.
Hosted by AniChe Cellars and sponsored by Riverview Bank, First Interstate Bank, and local wineries including AniChe Cellars, Willow Wine Cellars, Loop de Loop, and Inconnu Wine, the event highlights the generosity and collaboration that help strengthen our community.
Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully prepared dinner celebrating the immigrant and Indigenous roots of the Columbia Gorge, paired with local wines. The evening will also feature live music by Isabeau Waia’u Walker, a collaborative live art project by WAGAP’s Education & Engagement Coordinator Chris Cazares, and an ancestor art installation by Gracen Bookmyer.
“We look forward to sharing a wonderful night of great food, music, and giving back!” said Anaïs Mera, winemaker and Family owner of AniChe Cellars. “AniChe and my family’s ethos is all about being part of something bigger than ourselves and giving back where and when we can. We have a deep appreciation for how the WAGAP Food Bank supports our neighbors in need, and we want to help their team have the resources they need to continue their mission. Food for ALL!”
This year’s musical guest is Oregon-based singer-songwriter Isabeau Waia’u Walker, whose music weaves together storytelling, culture, and lived experience. Originally from Hawaiʻi and now based in the Pacific Northwest, Walker’s powerful voice and heartfelt songs explore identity, belonging, and connection. Her acclaimed albums and performances have earned recognition across the region, and her music provides a meaningful backdrop for an evening celebrating community, culture, and food.
The WAGAP Food Bank Network operates food banks in Bingen, Goldendale, Klickitat, and Stevenson, along with a Mobile Food Bank that serves our most isolated communities with limited access to grocery stores and other food resources. Together, these programs provide nutritious food to thousands of local households each year. “Last year, we served over 2300 individuals representing over 900 households,” said Janeal Booren, Nutrition Programs Director at WAGAP. “This included the distribution of over 950,000 pounds of food. As we are halfway through 2026, we are already seeing a decline in food that is donated or purchased with USDA funds.”
Booren continues, “Because of the reduction in USDA funds, we are directing more local funds on purchasing proteins such as chicken and hamburger as well as produce from our local grower. Over the last few years, we have benefited from funds available through the USDA to procure produce from our growers throughout the Gorge. USDA funds are no longer going to be available for purchasing local produce. We would like to sustain the availability of this produce for our clients, and community fundraising events like this make it possible.”
Individual tickets are $150 and are available through the banner on WAGAP’s website at www.wagap.org or through links on WAGAP’s social media pages.
Community members who are unable to attend but would like to support the WAGAP Food Bank Network can make a financial donation online at www.wagap.org/donate, at a local
WAGAP office, or by mail to P.O. Box 805, Bingen, WA 98605.
Booren said the organization is grateful for all forms of assistance. For anyone who may not be able to attend the event but wants to contribute, please donate non-perishable food and non- food items through the local branches, which are all listed online at https://www.wagap.org/food- banks-nutrition. A list is also available on the website of the ten donations that are most often needed.
“We are so grateful for partners like AniChe Cellars, Riverview Bank, First Interstate Bank, and wineries Willow Wine Cellars, Loop de Loop, and Inconnu Wine, which make these events possible and bring a spotlight on the issue of food insecurity,” Booren said.
