Wasco County Commissioners are set to consider the approval the latest Google tax agreement that would reduce property taxes for Google for 15 years and could also bring some 126 million dollars to the local community at its meeting Wednesday, March 3.

Wasco County Commissioners must decide on whether to give the global tech giant the breaks in an agreement that could see two new data centers built with an approximate value of $1.2 billion.

The agreement is also scheduled to come before The Dalles City Council on March 8 for a similar decision.
