Tuesday, June 27, Igor & The Red Elvises w/ Joe Kaplow
"Igor Yuzov was born in Germany, raised in Ukraine and studied in Russia. He grew up in the former Soviet Union, where folk music was the norm and rock’n’roll was illegal. A rebellious streak, however, led him to seek out the forbidden music. As soon as it became possible, Igor left Russia for America with his “Folk’n’Roll” band Limpopo and was personally greeted by Ronald Reagan. In 1993, Limpopo won Ed McMahon’s Star Search and their popularity began to blossom. In 1995, Igor dreamed that Elvis Presley came to him and told him to start playing rock’n’roll. Igor and his Russian friends became Red Elvises and gave street performances on Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade. As their crowds grew larger, the City of Santa Monica ordered them to discontinue their street performances. Evolving over the years, Igor’s music has been labeled “Siberian Surf Rock” which contains humorous lyrics and grooves that force his audience to dance. Over the past 20 years, Red Elvises have constantly toured all over the world with occasional breaks to record new music and to participate in film and television projects.”
Thursday, June 29, Bon Bon Vivant w/ The Jack Maybe Project
"Bon Bon Vivant is a genre-bending band from New Orleans that electrifies audiences across the country with their signature blend of singer songwriter/ jazz-inspired/Americana/ dark ballads and up-tempo indie dance rock. BBVs original music pays homage to the bawdy New Orleans sound while infusing an indie flavor that leaves a lasting mark on listeners. This band's original songs are joyous, fierce, honest and heartbreaking as they chronicle life and all it entails through the sounds of the minor keys.”
Sunday, July 2, Polyrhythmics (Ticketed Show)
"Polyrhythmics sound originated in Seattle’s underground deep funk scene combining impossibly tight grooves with bold brass and hypnotic percussion that showcased elements of R&B, progressive jazz, and Afrobeat which defined the instrumental group’s early era sound.”

Tuesday, July 4, Drunken Prayer and The Left Coast Roasters w/ Lewi Longmire & Morgan Geer
"Drunken Prayer transcends the bounds of Americana music. Morgan Geer writes songs that could emerge from a highly blissed-out biker bar or a swampy ashram. The newest Drunken Prayer album is 2022’s “The Name Of The Ghost Is Home.” The latest Drunken Prayer releases have been 2019’s acclaimed LP “Cordelia Elsewhere” mixed by Mitch Easter (Let’s Active, REM) and the ambitious 17 minute long death-raga, “Electric Daddyland” from 2021.”

About the Exhibit
“Charlene Rivers is from Parkdale and Myrna Anderson lives in Mosier. They have known each other or each other’s work for years. Chance brought them to exhibit together in the summer of 2021 at the invitation of the Cathedral Ridge Winery Gallery. What they discovered by showing their work in tandem is that, although very different in execution, both are fascinated by the geometric forms of the Columbia River Gorge landscape. Rivers simplifies the shapes into whimsical circles, lines and dots, and Anderson fractures the space into tiny squares and rectangles. Their complementary approaches inspired them to seek out an opportunity at The Dalles Art Center to exhibit together again.”
