Graduation week arrives across the Columbia Gorge

The Dalles, Ore., June 4, 2026 — Hundreds of seniors across the Columbia Gorge will walk across commencement stages this week as schools in The Dalles, Hood River, White Salmon and Goldendale celebrate the Class of 2026 and prepare to close out the academic year for summer break.
Hood River Valley High School will hold its graduation ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 5, according to the school calendar.
The Dalles High School will hold commencement at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, on Amaton Field at TDHS. The ceremony follows graduation practices on Thursday and Friday, and the Class of 2026 Riverhawk Walk through North Wasco County schools on Friday.
Across the river, Columbia High School and White Salmon Academy will hold commencement at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, according to Educational Service District 112’s regional graduation list.
Goldendale High School will also graduate Friday, with commencement set for 7 p.m. June 5 in the Goldendale High School Gym, according to the Goldendale School District calendar.
