Grass Fire on Old Dufur Road Aug 30th

The three to four acre fire appears to be mostly out. Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue said the fire is contained with line all the way around it.

From the Wasco County Sheriffs Office:

A grass fire was reported on Old Dufur Road Wasco  County Dispatch at 12:59 PM near Highway 197  between mile marker posts two and four. 

Resources on site include Columbia Rural Fire Protection District, Mid-Columbia Fire Rescue,  Dallesport Fire Station, Oregon Department of  Forestry and Columbia River Gorge National  Scenic Area - U.S. Forest Service.

Current temperatures are at 92F with a relative humidity of 25% and winds of 1-3 mph from the east blowing west.
