Holidays Bring Friend-Inspired TD Fun Run
Six friends from recent graduating classes from The Dalles High School laced up this morning for a little fun run before the holidays.
Erin Nelson, Luke McLean lead the pack of pals on Dry Hollow Road this morning. In the back doing their best Rocky Impressions are from left, Mark Feldermen, Molly Nelson, Corey Cameron and John Miller.
The group was struck with some great running temperatures this morning as thermometers were at the mid-50s. The high today is expected to be 61.
Don’t forget its Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year. It’s also The Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, according to our amateur astronomer Jo Cruz. One hour after sunset, Jupiter and Saturn will meet in the sky. It happens only once every 20 years. The last one was May 2000; the next is in November 2040!!!
These planets will be on the lower eastern horizon so prepare to find an elevated location that allows the view if need be.
