The Dalles, Ore., June 12, 2025 — For the fifth year in a row, the North Wasco County Education Foundation recognized the outstanding educators and staff who make a lasting difference in our local schools through its annual Golden Apple Awards.

Each year, the Foundation invites nominations from across the community: students, families, fellow educators, principals, and staff, to highlight individuals who go above and beyond to inspire, support, and care for students in North Wasco County School District 21.

This year, numerous educators, support staff, and administrators were nominated by their peers and community members. All nominees received a coffee gift card as a token of appreciation, while four outstanding individuals were selected to receive a Golden Apple Award and a $500 prize to enjoy this summer.
