Hoot Fest ads Pow Wow Punk Rock as Freebridge joins the party on Saturday

The Dalles, Ore., March 6, 2026 — As artists arrive for the new downtown music and arts festival in The Dalles that starts tonight, Lori and Steve Light of Freebridge have made an exciting announcement.

“Big news! 1876 band is playing a bonus, FREE, FREE, FREE, all ages, pop-up show at Freebridge Brewing on Saturday, March 7 at 1 p.m. on the brew floor! You won't want to miss this.”

The announcement comes on the heels of the new festival which is brining dozen of musical artists to town these next three days.

On third street this morning, volunteers were working to bring the green room for acts together, setting up a comfortable space for musicians to hang out before and after shows.

Kat St. John was busy this morning with several others as they readied the green room in the space between River City Saloon and the Farm Stand, which generously offered the space as The Dalles Overground nonprofit kicks off its innaugural Hoot.
