The Dalles, Ore., Nov. 17, 2023 - Oregon News Exploration, a new non-profit group, is working with The Next Door and local news organizations to host three focus groups to learn where residents of the Gorge find trusted local information, what they like about local news and what's missing from their local information diet.
The focus groups will be held in The Dalles, Hood River and White Salmon. Come grab some food, join the conversation and head home with a $100 Safeway gift certificate. Learn more here and sign up for a focus group.

Monday, Nov. 27: The Dalles (in English). 5:45-7:30 p.m.
Location: The Next Door, 1113 Kelly Ave, Conference Room A
Tuesday, Nov. 28: White Salmon (in English) 5:45-7:30 p.m.
Location: White Salmon Valley Community Library, Sprint/Baker Gallery
Tuesday, Dec. 5: Hood River (in Spanish) 5:45-7:30 p.m.
Location: The Next Door,965 Tucker Rd, Columbia River Room
Format of Focus Groups
5:45 pm: participants arrive and follow balloons and signs to the focus group room where they can grab food (vegetarian and gluten-free options available) and settle in.
6:00pm to 7:30 pm: focus group, led by staff of The Open Door.
7:30: Participants will get a "Thank-you" bag which will include a $100 gift certificate to Safeway.
