LLoyd Clark and Morrie Snow take a hike around Thompson Track this morning with about 10 others looking to beat the heat in The Dalles this morning, Friday July 31. The two get together about five times a week and run the circuit and jaw a bit. Lloyd previously worked for the Bonneville Power Administration at the Big Eddy site. Snow used to sell cars among other things, like welding in sub-zero weather near Billings, Montana in 1960. He sold cars at the Volkswagen Dealership here in The Dalles where Denney Floor Covering, 816 W. 6th St., now operates. “Cooler” temperatures are expected today at 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Stronger winds will make it feel 92 ;)
