Jonathan Von Ahn, 25, of Dallesport took some time out today, Feb. 10, to get the feel of his wheels at The Dalles Skatepark. The father of two said he had been skating since he was 11 and now his kids are showing interest and he decided to get a little practice in today. Von Ahn was an avid basketball and baseball player in his high school days at Lyle. He works at the Dallesport Foundry in the Dallesport Industrial Park. He said they make parts for rock crushing equipment.
