Summit Cedar Mill Fire Update: Business to Reopen by Monday
Summit Cedar Mill, located in Dallesport, experienced a significant fire yesterday that started around 3:00 p.m. The fire, initially triggered by one of the mill’s trucks catching fire, quickly spread due to high winds, igniting nearby stacks of wood.

Firefighters are battling a fast-moving fire lit by a malfunctioning semi-truck that spread the fire that eventually engulfed Summit Cedar Mill and lumberyard at 3 p.m. High winds are fanning the flames.
