Key Club Graduates Honored for Community Service Contributions in The Dalles

The Dalles Ore., June 11, 2024 — The Dalles Kiwanis Club congratulates our graduating High School Key Club members and thanks them and their advisors for their contribution to the community through service projects this year. Under the supervision of their advisors, Kayla Magill and Christina Burk, each of the following members earned a Key Club Graduation Medallion in special recognition of their hard work:

Yamari Santillan-Guzman – Social Media Manager
Cynthia Ibarra – Treasurer

Alexia Diaz – member
Diego Rodriguez – member
All of these students participated in meetings and some or all of the following projects:
Collecting Christmas gifts for the Salvation Army for boys and girls ages 2 – 10
Participating in The Dalles High School “Fly-up Day” for 8th-grade students
Providing concessions for all four performances of The Dalle Civic Auditorium Children’s Theatre presentation of Peter Pan Jr.
The Dalles High School Red Cross Blood Drive
Cherry Festival
o Helping with Parade line-up
o Riding the Kiwanis Float
o Getting information out about Key Club and selling raffle Tickets for a 2024 Toyota Corolla.
This New Car Raffle is possible through the generosity of Columbia Gorge Toyota and is the second year in a row that the Raffle is being offered to benefit student activities here in North Wasco County School District under the North Wasco County School District 21 Education Foundation. Proceeds go to support student activities.
