Kiwanis Steak Feed Cancelled
The Dalles Kiwanis Club has decided to cancel this year’s Steak Feed fundraiser out of the utmost care and concern for its beloved community’s health and well-being. The event was initially scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 9.
When the club set out to bring back the Steak Feed after cancelling last year’s event, members had high hopes for its glorious return. But, as with all things, the only constant is change.
The club wishes to thank its dedicated event committee, board members, club members, and everyone who share in the enthusiasm for Kiwanis’ favorite evening of the year.
The difficult decision to forego the Steak Feed and the vital funds it raises for local projects for the second consecutive year, demonstrates Kiwanis’ commitment to the greater good for its community and its members.
We will get through this unique and challenging time together. And, when the Kiwanis Steak Feed does make its return, oh what an event it will be!
