Initial ballot returns strong in Wasco County

Of the 18,403 ballots sent out for the Nov. 3 general election, 2,425 have already been returned surpassing return rates during the past two elections, according to statistics provided by Wasco County Clerk Lisa Gambee. Ballots hit local mailboxes on Friday.

“Wasco County, like most of the rest of the state, is experiencing fantastic returns already,” she said in an email. “Here's how the numbers compare against the 2016 and 2018 General Elections:”
