The Dalles Pump Track Project Construction is on Track
The Dalles gearing up for an exhilarating addition to its skatepark: a pump track that promises to captivate skateboarders and BMX riders alike.

The Dalles, OR, July 31, 2023— As the bike pump track project located at 602 W 2nd in The Dalles nears construction project gets closer to completion, plans are being made to host a competition fundraiser to put the finishing touches on the project. The skateboard and BMX competition would raise funds to buy outdoor lights for the track, to ensure nighttime safety.
Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation Executive Director Scott Baker said that they are looking forward to the competition but noted that the competition would likely be delayed until the completion of the track and until fire season in the gorge had calmed down.
