Multi-Agency Sting in Cascade Locks Lures Child Predators; Two Arrested

Cascade Locks, Oregon - November 2, 2023 - In a collaborative effort, the Hood River County Sheriff's Office, along with several other law enforcement agencies, conducted a sting operation to lure child predators in Cascade Locks on October 21, 2023, leading to the apprehension of two suspects.
Detectives from the Hood River County Sheriff's Office joined forces with the Oregon State Police, Hood River City Police, Sherman County Sheriff's Office, City of The Dalles Police, Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security carried out the sting on October 21, 2023.
**Arrested Individuals:**
1. Abel Cornejo-Reyes (26) from Hillsboro, was taken into custody on charges including Luring a Minor, Online Sexual Corruption of a Minor (1st Degree), and probation violations.
2. Joseph Migliaccio (58) from Hood River, was arrested on charges of Luring a Minor and Online Sexual Corruption of a Minor (1st Degree).
