North Wasco County Schools will be closed today Dec. 9th, 2022

North Wasco County Schools will be closed today, Friday, 12/9/22, due to inclement winter weather.

We’d like to thank everyone for their continued support and patience this week as we navigated the twists, turns, and challenges of the Columbia Gorge weather. Out of an abundance of caution, North Wasco County School District will be closed tomorrow.

We’d like to give a very special shout out to some of our superstars this week - our maintenance crew, our bus driver crew, and the city and county workers who worked together and through constant communication, ensured our students made it to and from school safely this week.

We are committed to ensuring the safety of all our students, staff, and their families, and as we continue to navigate the winter weather during the next few months, we will remain in contact with all of you and continue to update you with notices related to any delays and/or school closures.

We thank you for your support and understanding. Stay safe and stay warm!
