The Dalles City Council to Consider Annexation, Q-Life Telecommunications Franchise

Pursuant to the City of The Dalles Charter, Chapter VIII, Section 31, notice is hereby given that the City Council proposes to adopt, using the method of reading by title only:

Special Ordinance No 26-614 Annexing Certain Property Located Within the Urban Growth Boundary of the City of The Dalles Pursuant to ORS 222.125 (Consent Annexation: ANX #82-25); and Special Ordinance No. 26-615 Granting a Non-Exclusive Telecommunications Franchise to QualityLife Intergovernmental Agency.

The proposed special ordinances will be available for public inspection as an agenda item in the City Council Regular Meeting agenda packet, available on the City website www.thedalles.org/Agendas no later than July 20, 2026.

The ordinances are proposed for adoption at the City Council Regular Meeting of July 27, 2026 to be held in person at City Hall, 313 Court Street, The Dalles and Live Streamed at 5:30 p.m.

Public viewing of the live meeting is available online at www.thedalles.org/agendas. To give testimony during a Council meeting please register with the City Clerk no later than 12 pm the day of the council meeting. Email amell@thedalles.gov or call (541) 296-5481 ext. 1119.
