Photo Gallery: Holiday Quilt Reception at White Salmon Library
White Salmon, WA, December 9, 2023 – The Friends of White Salmon Library hosted a holiday quilt reception and open house at White Salmon Library from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 9.
The event featured live holiday music from Diane Allen and Chales Crosman, book sale, wassail punch, snacks, and holiday themed quilts from Columbia River Gorge Quilters Guild (CRGQG), some of which are for sale.
So, if you’re looking for a locally made homemade gift, or just some inspiration, the quilts will be on display until the end of December!
“We’ve done this show for six years, maybe more than that before covid, the quilts are made by many members of the guild and it’s just a fun thing to do and everybody loves the quilts,” said Kathy Anderson of CRGQG. “So it’s a lot of fun. We have fun doing it.”

Also on display was a community quilt, made of paper. Blocks were designed by different members of the community and then assembled into a quilt display.
