Santas Needed: It's go time for the Chenowith Elementary Giving Tree

The Chenowith Elementary School giving tree is in need of some local Santas.
Perhaps you are willing to take a sleigh ride to make some local students smile while filling your own heart with the warmth of giving.
We have had 100 students in need of various items this winter including jackets, gloves, socks, shoes, card games, board games, etc. There are envelopes with ages on them located on the tree at the entry of Freebridge Brewing, 710 E. 2nd St., The Dalles. Hours are Wednesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11- 8 on Sunday.
You can go and pick an envelope off the tree and it will tell you the age of the child and what they need in terms of clothing and wishes for a Christmas gift.
If possible, we are trying to get items purchased and to us by Thursday 12/19 for wrapping and pick up. If you feel at all able to give a little this season, please consider picking up an envelope!
