Damaged power pole

From Northern Wasco County PUD:

Earlier today a car hit a pole at approx. 2719 Skyline Rd. The good news is we're told the driver is ok. The bad news is the pole is not going to survive. The crew is responding and getting geared up to take an outage to replace the pole. There will be 23 total meters affected.

11 meters could be out in 2 to 4 hours. The crew has to de-energize the main feed out Skyline off of Mill Creek Road for 5 to 10 minutes so we can isolate the tap where the pole was damaged. Once the pole and transformer have been replaced, those customers again will experience a brief outage to re-energize the whole line.

IT is sending out notifications to the affected customers.
