Harlee's Ride

Sledding Harlee 2021.JPG

Two-and-a-half-year-old Harlee Kubitscheck wasn’t quite sure how to take the 23-degree temperatures and fresh pow downhill. But she ended her sled ride with a smile for her dad, Jacob, and sister, Lolani, 10. The family was gathered with about 30 other people at the Dry Hollow Elementary hill this afternoon. Jacob, an electrician, took the day off from a job in Vancouver, Wash. He said the Gorge was expecting 70 mph winds, so he deemed it a good sledding day with his family in The Dalles.

Jacob Kubitscheck and daughter Harlee make a run at Dry Hollow Elementary- above.
