St. Paul’s Episcopal to Host Indigenous Justice Training

The Dalles, Ore., Feb. 25, 2025 — St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in The Dalles will host “Moving Toward Right Relations,” a two-day training designed to guide Christian and settler-descended volunteers in movements for Indigenous justice. The event will take place March 15-16 at 1805 Minnesota Ave.
Led by Sarah Augustine, executive director of the Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery, the interactive training will cover topics such as steps of repair, core assumptions about justice, power analysis, and the challenges faced by both those who have endured injustices and those seeking to create or volunteer within justice programs.
The training consists of two modules and includes a workbook, which costs $35.
The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, March 15
Morning session: 9 a.m.
Lunch: 1 p.m.
Afternoon session: 2 p.m.
Sunday, March 16
Church service: 10 a.m.
Lunch: 12 p.m.
Afternoon session ends: 3 p.m.
