Foundation provides $10k in grants to Stevenson Carson Teachers
From The Stevenson Carson Educational Foundation:
The Stevenson-Carson Educational Foundation is excited to announce the 2021 SCEF Teacher Grant Program. We’ve had tremendous response to our Fall 2020 fundraising effort and are able, for the first time ever, to offer classroom grants to SCSD teachers. The grant program is our primary project for 2021, and we hope this is the first of many annual cycles.
With $10,000 available, the 2021 program has been designed to reach as many students as possible. We look forward to working with teachers to find amazing opportunities that will put all allocated funds to work. In an effort to share resources with the most students, funding will be prioritized for smaller projects, but grant applications for any size project will be accepted. Teachers have been encouraged to submit multiple requests.
The SCEF would like to thank A&J Market for matching $10,000 in donations during our fall fundraising effort. A&J Market’s leadership in investment in SCSD students is an amazing demonstration of their commitment to our community. Thank you, A&J Market!
We would also like to thank all of the individual and corporate donors that have stepped up to help us bring several new programs to SCSD students in 2021, in addition to all of the support for student meals in 2020. We look forward to announcing several other initiatives for 2021 as the timeline for all students’ return to the classroom and ability to assemble becomes more clear.
More details about the 2021 SCEF Teacher Grant Program are on the application, which is due March 9. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to andrew.taylor@scef303.com or the foundation’s entire board of directors at info@scef303.com.
