Structure Fire in White Salmon Claims Home

BREAKING NEWS: 

A structure fire claimed a home near town on Snowden Rd in White Salmon, Washington on June 25th, 2021. 

The fire was first reported around 6:20 PM. Several units responded including Lyle, and Hood River fire. DNR was involved in watching out for potential Wildland fire. 

Defensive actions were taken to prevent spread of the fire, including cutting of power. 

A family member said on facebook that everybody made it out okay, including their animals.
CCCNews has reached out to the family for details to find out the extent of the damage and how the community can help.

The fire was mostly mopped up by around 8 PM although firefighters were still on scene.
