In light of the forecasted winter weather this coming week, the Wasco County Clerk's Office, in conjunction with The Dalles Rotary Club, has canceled the 5th Street Ballot Drive-Thru Collection on Tuesday, November 8th.

Klickitat County primary election results are still rolling in. Voter turnout has increased to 33.11% and the gap has widened to 102 votes in the Klickitat County Sheriff’s race.

Voters in Wasco and Hood River County are slow to the polls this year. “This year we’re dragging behind in voter turnout and I’m not sure why,” said Lisa Gambee, Wasco County Clerk. “There’s a fair amount of candidates in the Governor’s race, so maybe it’s voters fatigue but still it’s been a little bit surprising.”
