The Dalles celebrated the Fourth of July with the annual Rocket Run and a patriotic downtown parade, launching a full day of festivities honoring America's 250th birthday.

Fort Dalles Fourth organizers say this year's expanded America 250 celebration will feature races, music, vendors, family activities and one of the Gorge's largest fireworks shows.
