The KODL Classic Car Show winner this year was Rick Oldfield of White Salmon for his 1929 Essex. KODL, thanks to Marcia Wynn, provided the following photos and winners from Cherry Fest. The Car show was held on Saturday, April 22 on Federal Street between Second and Fourth Streets.
Super Escandalo takes the main stage today, April 23, at Cherry Fest in downtown The
Dalles. They are the opener for a two-band show today. They hit the stage at 1 p.m. Chervona will bring some world flavor to the stage at 3:30 p.m. with a mix of Russian, Gypsy, Klezmer, Polka and Ska Music
The Energy is palpable in downtown TD this morning as vendors and volunteers are putting together booths, food concessions and getting the mainstage for entertainment ready. Events kick off at 4 p.m. with the Carnival opening and Comedian Tyler Boeh at 4:30 p.m. which rolls into Roll on, an Alabama Tribute Band at 6 p.m.

Watch for the first Cherry Fest queen at the annual parade slated for 10 a.m. in The Dalles on Saturday, April 23. The parade starts at Sixth and Webber streets (Burger King) and flows east down Third Street in downtown before heading north on Monroe Street at Optimist Printers and then returning west on Second Street to the U.S. Post office.
