Hood River County District Attorney Carrie Rasmussen announced today that she will not seek reelection in 2024 and has thrown her support behind Matthew Ellis to fill her position.

Elections are happening across Oregon on Tuesday, May 17 and the deadline for citizens to register to vote or change party affiliation is Tuesday, April 26. All Wasco County residents are encouraged to participate by registering or updating their current voter information. Click her to find out how.
