A portion of the First Street parking lot north of Tony’s Lot and east of the Transportation Building has closed as work begins on the First Street Streetscaping Project.

Big changes are coming to The Dalles. Join city officials Oct. 30 at City Hall to learn about the new Federal Street Plaza, First Street upgrades, and major sewer and stormwater improvements on West 10th Street.

A new grant program for reutilizing older buildings in The Dalles downtown has property owners making upgrades as Urban Renewal looks to breath new life into the commercial district. Also updates on the Recreation Building, Blue Building, Tony’s Town & Country and First Street upgrades.
