A little rain and a brisk breeze couldn’t dampen the spirit of patriotism in The Dalles on Friday as hundreds of residents lined the streets and filled City Park to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Hood River will host its annual 4th of July festivities, starting with a parade at 10 a.m., organized by the Hood River Lions Club. Fireworks will follow at 10 p.m. on the Hood River Waterfront.

Start your morning with the Rocket Run along the scenic Columbia River, followed by a free community breakfast and yoga session.
