The Dalles Civic Auditorium is currently accepting applications for our Spring Market Fair. This event will take place on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m/, at The Dalles Civic Auditorium (323 E. Fourth Street).

Local restaurant Honkytonk Bar & Restaurant will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants (ABR) in early April 2024. America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants, will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant on April 5th.

Sherry Munro first came to the Board of Directors of the Civic Auditorium in 2006 when she was invited to attend meetings, meet the board members, and decide if it was a good fit for her. She was then elected to the Board on January 10, 2007.

Fort Dalles Museum’s seasonal opening is coming with some interesting new details as the local archive of all things The Dalles has several new exhibits including a curation of an opium pipe, needle and spoon found in a tunnel entrance south of The Dalles Mercantile.

Wednesday, March 21 was a technicolor knockout in the Gorge with temperatures above 70 degrees and those oh-so-special daylight savings extending afternoon activities. Tom McCall Point Trail atop Rowena Loops was bustling with activity as sightseers and hikers took the trails to stumble on fields of purple, yellow and crimson.
