It appears Dave DesRochers took on a good part of an entire city block, blasting the chunky white stuff of the sidewalk like a superhero neighbor. He rounded his corner on Second Street, took out a section of Washington Street and then headed down Third Street.

He is hosting a “Cut the Rug” Extravaganza at The Dalles Eagles, 2006 W. 7th Street on Saturday, Oct. 21 starting at 5 p.m. Kate Nichols will provide line dancing instruction from 5 to 6 p.m. Line dancing and couples dancing starts at 6 p.m. with Megan Alder and the Woods providing live music at 7 p.m.
