The Dalles Starlight Parade 2024 in Photos

The Dalles Starlight Parade was electric on Friday night as the Fun Group lit off all of the Community stars that shone from the hills on this fun community of 15,000. The toys came out in force during the parade, which featured dinosaurs, minions, Woody, and Bo Peep. Christmas spirit was kicked into high gear with the annual event that caps Thanksgiving get-togethers for families and friends.

Cherry Fest 2023 in Pictures

What a weekend. This year’s Cherry Fest drew thousands this year as a 2 and half hour parade with more than 90 entries anchored the downtown festival that had kids clamoring for rides, fries and cherry pies. The smoked meat mac sandwich was another major bomb along with the foot-long corndogs. Earth Day events and the Quilt show added other great dimensions to the fest. See you there next year.
