The weather gods are smiling on The Dalles this Memorial Day weekend as calls for temps in the 80s and lots of sun come as the Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation opens the pool at the Aquatic Center, 602 W. 2nd Street.

The Dalles public pool will close tomorrow as supply disruptions have led to region-wide chlorine shortages across the Pacific Northwest.

Put on your swim shorts and bathing suits and get ready for some free swimming in The Dalles and Hood River! The pools are offering free passes for families that have a financial need.
