Rain pouring, sawdust flying; Building continues in Port of The Dalles

Sal Reyes, 35, of The Dalles cuts through an 8” x 6” beam this morning in the Port of The Dalles. The Framer was working on the RBR Construction’s fourplex. Rain, Schmain. Reyes kept on working. Weather prognosticators are calling for more rain through the weekend with temps never jumping out of the 50s.

Building up... Fast.

Framers with RBR Construction were working on mixed-use buildings this morning, Jan. 27, that will provide commercial space on the first floor and residential living on the second floor in the Port of The Dalles. The construction has been underway since summer and crews are moving fast to bring the project to fruition.

Construction full steam ahead in TD Port

Sergio Sedano, 20, and Nick Lauritsen, 26, were putting the forms together for a concrete pour in The Port of The Dalles this morning, Wednesday, Sept. 1. The two framers with RBR Construction are working on mixed-use buildings that will provide commercial space on the first floor and residential living on the second floor.

Going Up

RBR Construction out of Hood River was getting trusses in place and finishing the framing on this duplex on the 2600 block of 14th St. this afternoon, March 18. The company is quickly adding housing stock to The Dalles. Read more here.
