The Riverhawk’s boys varsity soccer team punched their ticket to the playoffs on Tuesday evening in a close match that saw The Dalles team play some tough defense and score when they needed to in a tight 2-1 victory over Redmond.

The Dalles Riverhawks play their second game of the season against league rival the Redmond Panthers. This was supposed to be the third game of the season but last week’s game against St. Helens was canceled due to the St. Helens team getting COVID.

The Dalles Riverhawks faced off against league rivals the Redmond Panthers at 7 PM, Friday night. It was the final game of the season and it ended in a blowout loss. In a tough season that was delayed and shortened by a pandemic and resulted in a smaller team, the Riverhawks impressed and gave it their all. They have my respect.
