With mildly scorching temperatures, the teams’ times were just as hot for The Dalles, Henkle, Glenwood, and fellow Tri-Valley League team Estacada.
I met my scalper, Kiwanian Dennis Morgan, in the parking lot. He set me up with two delightful tickets for my wife Peggy and myself with seating, well, anywhere we wanted. It appeared the crowd was prepared for the event, many bringing their own steak knives. Many opted for Orange Soda and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Oh wait, that was me.
The 2022 Kiwanis Steak Feed will soon be upon us today, Thursday, Sept. 8. It goes from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are still available. Click here for the link to purchase tickets.
The Dalles Kiwanis Steak Feed is the hot ticket for Thursday, Sept. 8th at Sorosis Park. The fundraiser in its 66th year is a local favorite and a great chance to have a steak dinner with neighbors and friends while giving back to your community. The weather is supposed to be perfect.
