Vandals plug sewer; Mill Creek, Columbia still 'no water contact'

A ‘no water contact’ warning has been posted along Mill Creek and Columbia River after vandals plugged a sewer, causing it to overflow into Mill Creek near 9th Street in The Dalles on Sept. 23.

The City of White Salmon is experiencing a wastewater emergency. All property owners within the following area are asked to not use any water and to not flush any toilets at this time until further notice.

The Dalles Public Works to Install New Sewer Main on Scenic Drive

Monday March 22, 2021, the City of The Dalles Public Works will begin installation of a sanitary sewer main on East Scenic Drive between the entrance to Columbia Gorge Community College and the entrance to Sorosis Park.
