The Dalles produced an NFL guard who has been named in the top 100 to ever play for the Chicago Bears. You may know The Dalles captured the Oregon State Football Championship in 1947. And you may know about the team knocking the helmets off the Hillsboro Spartans in a 47-7 blowout in front of 14,000 fans in Portland to grab the trophy. But there was a whole lot more to it. This is their story.
