Johnathan Matthews admitted he dragged and ran over Stephen Hayes while fleeing a bike theft in a stolen pickup, receiving a 150-month prison sentence.

A Wasco County man who failed to appear for sentencing in a child sex abuse case was taken into custody Tuesday and lodged at the Multnomah County Jail.

The first-degree attempted assault convictions relate back to the four gunshots he took at a vehicle during what appears to be a road rage incident that occurred near Parkdale on Halloween, 2022.
