TD Beautification & Tree Committee Announces the April Beautification Award Winner

The Dalles Ore., May 6, 2024 — The Dalles Beautification & Tree Committee has awarded April’s Beautification Award to Gary and Beckie Bloomdahl of 720 E. 12th Street.
When asked to describe their garden, The Bloomdahl’s said, “Almost 20 years ago what started as a hillside of large rocks and weeds has turned into a kaleidoscope of seasonal color. The rocks have been repurposed to make borders and we knew we wanted to fill the space with shrubs and flowers that we like and that would be pleasing to the eye. We enjoy seeing people stop to admire all our hard work.”
