TDHS Boys Basketball Makes 5A Playoffs for the first time since 2018/2019 Season

The Dalles boys basketball team will be playing in the first round of the playoffs this Friday, March 4th at 6 p.m. in Eugene against the 2nd seed Churchill Lancers.
It’s a bit of a rematch. The last time the Hawks played in the playoffs they lost in the first round to the first seed Lancers.
The Hawks had a record of 11-10 this season just winning over half their games. They are led by Coach Greg Cummings who’s in his 3rd year of being head coach for The Dalles. This is his best team so far. He has a talented roster with lots of players who played summer ball; this team has great chemistry and works hard. The Hawks are the 15th seed, so they’re the underdogs, but I wouldn’t count this team out.
