The Dalles Kiwanis marks 70 years with annual Steak Feed; get your ticket now; bring your own knife

The Dalles, Ore. Sept. 3, 2026 — The Dalles Kiwanis will mark the 70th anniversary of its annual Steak Feed on Thursday, Sept. 10, with proceeds supporting youth programs, scholarships and community service projects.
The Steak Feed is held at Sorosis Park and runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and features an 8-ounce sirloin steak dinner with a baked potato, coleslaw, roll, beverage and ice cream for $25 per person.
Children ages 12 and younger can receive a free hot dog dinner.
The annual fundraiser supports Kiwanis programs serving children and families in The Dalles, including scholarships, youth programs and hands-on community service projects.
Ted Horwitz will provide live entertainment during the event.
Tickets can be purchased from Kiwanis members or through the The Dalles Kiwanis website. Tickets will also be available at the event.
